LAURA´s baptism/Lauras Taufe
Our oldest child Laura had her baptism last saturday on 5th of June 2010. Unser ältestes Kind Laura wurde letzten Samstag, den 5. Juni 2010 getauft.
Days before she was very excited and was looking forward to her baptism! Schon Tage vorher war sie aufgeregt und hatte sich auf ihre Taufe gefreut!
She got baptised from her uncle René. Sie wurde von ihrem Onkel René getauft.
We enjoyed this special moment with our daughter and were very proud that she made this importent step in her life! Wir haben uns alle mit Laura gefreut und waren sehr stolz auf sie, dass sie sich zu diesem wichtigen Schritt in ihrem Leben entschieden hat!

FINALLY SNOW!!!!
How perfect - right at a holiday it snowed and mum and dad had a day off - so time to get outside !
As a dad you are doing everything for your kids! Even when it´s very exhausting!
As you can see Julia was quite afraid at the begining and didn´t like it a lot - at first!
Sometimes you HAVE to do it by yourself!
Guess what they are building?
It almost looks like a snowman - don´t you think so?
We are living in Austria which is known for it´s snow - but we are also happy to live in an area where we are able to enjoy it!

Weihnachten 2009/Christmas 2009
Every year Christmas gets more and more excited. The kids are not so small anymore so they know the meaning of Christmas - the birth of Jesus Christ AND gifts! You can really feel the agitation!
But for us parents it is a gift that we are aloud the have 3 lovely children. Sure sometimes they are really a challenge but every day we discover more and more about them. We are not only blessed with a job no - we are blessed with the most precious in the world a family.
So we are curious what 2010 will bring - at least one thing we know - Christoph will start with school!
Jedes Jahr wird Weihnachten aufrengender. Unsere Kinder sind nicht mehr so klein und kennen die Bedeutung von Weihachten sehr wohl - die Geburt Jesus Christus UND Geschenke. Die Aufregung der Kinder ist richtig spührbar - schön!
Aber für uns als Eltern ist es ein Geschenk 3 liebe Kinder haben zu dürfen. Natürlich manchmal sind sie eine wahre Herrausforderung (dann sind unsere Engerl eher Bengerl), aber wir entdecken jeden Tag mehr über sie. Wir sind nicht nur mit einem Job gesegnet - Nein auch mit dem wertvollsten das es gibt - einer Familie.
So sind wir schon neugierig was uns 2010 bringen wird - eines bestimmt - Christoph beginnt mit der Schule!

Christmas for every child/Weihnachten für alle Kinder!!
Since 4 years I`m participating at the initiative www.samaritanspurse.org
Seit 4 Jahren nehme ich an der Aktion www.geschenke-der-hoffnung.org teil.
Every year it starts with tons of shoe boxes - every single one needs to be controlled before they get stored into hudge boxes for transport.
Es beginnt immer mit vielen, vielen Packerln, die kontrolliert werden müssen um dann in die Transportkartons verpackt zu werden.
That´s the final result for this year - 487 nice wrapped shoe boxes are going their way in 48 transportboxes to Romania. I didn´t expect any increase compared to the last year - because of the world economic crisis and was very surprised!
Das ist das Ergebnis von heuer - 487 Weihnachtspackerl können sich in 48 Transport kartons auf den Weg nach Rumänien machen. Ich habe eigentlich keine Steigerung der Anzahl gegenüber dem Vorjahr auf Grund der Weltwirtschaftskrise erwartet, und wurde positiv überrascht!
